Yes. PDF, PNG, and JPEG are all accepted, including a phone photo of a printed or thermal receipt.
What if the receipt is faded or hard to read?
If a field can't be read reliably, the document is marked needs review with the specific field flagged, rather than guessing and presenting a false success.
Is there a limit on the free version?
Up to 3 pages and 5 MB per receipt, with a daily limit per visitor, at no cost and with no account required. For bulk extraction, the Developer API offers a free monthly page allotment, with page packs from $9 for 100 pages. For bookkeeping, start with one statement on Free, unlock a tax year with Catch-Up for $599 with 12 months of access, or keep the current year caught up with Autopilot for $59/month with 1,500 pages a month included and optional one-time page packs for more pages.
What happens to my receipt after conversion?
The uploaded image and the extracted result are both deleted automatically within an hour. Nothing is retained.
