Convert
Invoice to CSV, verified
Upload an invoice (a PDF, a scan, or a photo) and get back verified CSV data: every field checked, every line item accounted for, and a clear, machine-readable reason attached the moment anything doesn't add up instead of a spreadsheet that just looks right. Built for importing into Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, or Xero.
Steps
- 1Upload the invoice (drag-and-drop in the dashboard, or POST it to the API)
- 2The document is extracted and run through the checks below; every invoice reaches succeeded, partial, needs_review, or failed, never stuck
- 3Download a CSV with one row per line item, ready to import

Does it check the math, or just read the text?
Both. Extraction reads the fields, then a separate verification pass runs the checks in the table below before the invoice is marked done. An invoice that extracts cleanly but fails a check is marked `partial` with the exact reason, not `succeeded`.
What happens to an invoice it can't fully read?
It never comes back looking like an empty success. A page that failed to process, a required field that's genuinely missing, or a document with zero extractable data each get their own status (`partial`, `needs_review`, or `failed`) and a specific reason code, not a blank field sitting next to everything else that worked.
Will this CSV import straight into QuickBooks or Xero?
QuickBooks Online's own invoice importer expects specific columns (invoice number, customer, date, due date, item amounts) and caps a single import at 100 invoices / 1,000 rows once sales tax is turned on; Xero's bill/invoice importers have their own column and one-tax-treatment-per-file rules. The CSV export maps to the built-in invoice fields so lining it up with either importer's template is a column-rename, not a re-extraction.
