The planted mistake
The printed total is $10.00 more than subtotal plus tax. The subtotal of $1,581.00 plus $130.43 in tax is $1,711.43, but the invoice prints $1,721.43.

Example 2: Bank statement balance
The planted mistake
Transaction 14's printed balance is $100.00 too high. It prints $2,343.15 instead of $2,243.15.

Arkrel flags transaction 14 and nothing else. The balance after it carries on from the correct figure, which shows the mistake is the printed balance on that one row, and the reason says how far off it is.
