Bank statement PDF to CSV or Excel, free
Upload a bank statement (PDF, PNG or JPEG, up to 3 pages) and get back every transaction as CSV or Excel rows. The opening balance, running balance and closing balance are reconciled automatically, so a dropped or duplicated row doesn't slip through silently.

No account or email required. Your file and the result are automatically deleted within 50 minutes.
How it works
- 1Drop in a bank statement PDF, photo, or scan (up to 3 pages, 5 MB)
- 2Every transaction row is extracted, not just the summary totals
- 3The verifier checks the opening balance plus credits minus debits equals the closing balance, and that each row's running balance continues from the one before it
- 4Download the transactions as CSV or Excel, ready for a spreadsheet or bookkeeping import

That's the point of it. If the running balance jumps unexpectedly between two rows, or the opening/closing balance doesn't reconcile against the sum of transactions, the document is marked partial or needs review instead of silently handing back an incomplete CSV.
How many pages can I upload for free?
Up to 3 pages and 5 MB per file, with a daily limit per visitor, at no cost and with no account. For larger files, the Developer API offers a free monthly page allotment, with page packs from $9 for 100 pages. For bookkeeping, start with one statement on Free, unlock a tax year with Catch-Up for $599 with 12 months of access, or keep the current year caught up with Autopilot for $59/month with 1,500 pages a month included and optional one-time page packs for more pages.
Is my bank statement stored anywhere?
No. It is processed once, and the uploaded file and the result are both automatically deleted within an hour. No email address is collected to use this tool.
Can I get the transactions as an Excel file instead of CSV?
Yes, both formats (and JSON) are one click away after processing, from the same result.
Can I import this straight into QuickBooks Online or Xero?
Yes. Download the QuickBooks CSV button for QuickBooks Online's own 3-column Date/Description/Amount format, the Xero CSV button for Xero's bank statement columns, or OFX for either one (QuickBooks Online also accepts OFX as a Web Connect file, and OFX is Xero's other supported import path). See /bank-statement-to-quickbooks and /bank-statement-to-xero for the exact import steps.
